Non riesco a collegarmi con la chiavetta 4G E3276s-150, il router (versione firmware V2_140309) la riconosce ma non riesce ad ottenere il collegamento alla rete Wind.
La mia SIM è stipulata con un operatore virtuale che si affida alla rete wind, si tratta di Alternatyva.
La chiavetta inserita in un PC Windows funziona sia con SIM Alternatyva sia con SIM 3, ma collegata al router posso accedere ad internet solo con tramite 3.

Ciao, è un problema che hanno molti router 3G/4G con Alternatyva.
Senti la loro assistenza perchè se non sbaglio nelle impostazioni della connessione devi cambiare il numero e inserire nome utente e password.

Ho dimenticato di dire che sino ad oggi mi sono collegato senza problemi con il router MR3420 e la chiavetta MA260 con inserita la SIM Alternatyva; i parametri di accesso non li ho modificati, dovrebbero valere anche per la E3276.
Dal log mi confermi che la richiesta che comunica alla rete è corretta?

Non riesco nemmeno a collegarmi da GNU/Linux attraverso connessione mobile broadband.

A me non sembra un problema del router ma di autenticazione o rete Alternatyva.
La sim è abilitata alla rete LTE? Hai copertura LTE?

Questo può dipendere da molte cose (usb_modeswitch, driver, etc etc) ma non andiamo OT…

La SIM è una 4G ma Alternatyva opera esclusivamente sul 3G, per cui ho impostato dal software Huawei: “WCDMA Only”
però non ho idea se questa impostazione la salvi sulla chiavetta per poi rispettarla una volta inserita nel router.

No, il firmware è l’ultimo disponibile, il 21.436.03.00.00 che dovrebbe essere la versione normale. Con l’HiLink risolverei qualcosa?

Possibile, però ricordati che devi cambiare indirizzo ip al tp-link perchè non possono esserci due 192.168.1.1
Vai nel menu network lan e metti 192.168.10.1
Con l’HiLink la e3276s ha ip 192.168.1.1 aprilo con un browser per la configurazione della connessione 3G/4G
 
:confused: Hmmm, sulla rete si trovano tutorial per trasformare una E3276s-150 HiLink in una normale, ma il passaggio inverso non viene mai citato.

Nella guida che avrei scaricato da questi due pacchetti:
firmware e WebUI
vedo che tra le schede di rete dovrebbe comparire “Remote NDIS based Internet Sharing Device” ma a me appare “HUAWEI Mobile Connect - Network Card”, inoltre è presente pure una voce sotto modem.

Nell’applicazione installata ora è possibile impostare la chiavetta in modalità “RAS(modem)” oppure “NDIS”, ma la voce dei dispositivi rimane inalterata e non è possibile accedervi dall’indirizzo 192.168.1.1.

Che dici, mi arrischio a procedere con l’installazione di quel firmware? Ritieni che sia il più appropriato?
 
Ci sono riuscito! 😃

Installando il firmware che ho mostrato nel post precedente la chiavetta riesce a connettersi e a condividere il traffico al router. 😃

Gli ho collegato un’antenna esterna da pochi euri che però fa un eccellente lavoro, portando il segnale al massimo e consentendo di farmi raggiungere dei valori eccellenti.
speedtest a 24Mb/s

Con la MA260 non superavo gli 8Mb/s.

Ricorda che puoi sempre vedere segnale, messaggi etc etc anche quando la chiavetta è collegata al router!
Devi aprire sempre http://192.168.1.1 è molto comodo…
 
Sì, decisamente un passo avanti rispetto alla luce accesa/spenta della chiavetta. 🙂
Anche se mi piacerebbe sapere il valore esatto del segnale in Db, come aveva il software Huawei dell’altro firmware, strano che non l’abbiamo implementato nella WebUI. 😦

Comunque ormai ho già piazzato l’antenna esterna con il suo tassello e da lì non la sposto.

Per la stesura dell’elenco delle compatibilità, è stato abbandonato o ci si dedica ancora qualcuno?
Io ho fatto una prova andata a buon fine pure con l’hotspot portatile Huawei R215.

No, in “Sistema” ho solo tre voci e “Stato della Rete” è assente.
