Ciao a tutti…questa e l’email ricevuta stamattina dopo una sollecitazione:
Hi, Fabio.
Please accept my apologies for the delay in getting back to you.
After discussing the issue you’re describing with our technical specialists, the behavior you’ve noted appears to be related to the use of a DDNS service in conjunction with IPSec on your TS-W8960Ns. When two units (“Device A” and “Device B”) are configured in this manner, and (for instance) Device B is rebooted, Device B’s WAN IP address will almost always change unless its connection has a static IP address. As Device A will only resolve the DDNS domain once when the IPSec connection is first activated, it will continue to try and use the previous WAN IP of Device B to form the IPSec connection. This will in turn fail to reconnect, as Device B’s IP address is now different to the address that Device A has initially resolved.
The solution to this issue you’re currently using will restore the IPSec connection, but as this solution is neither convenient nor satisfactory, our technical team is currently working on a method to resolve this issue so the connection no longer needs to be manually re-established. The fix for this issue will be released in a future firmware update – while I don’t currently have an ETA on the release date of this firmware, it will be available for download on our Australian website here (
http://www.tp-link.com.au/support/download.asp?a=1&m=TD-W8960N) as soon as it is ready.
If you have any further questions, or require any further assistance, please let me know so I can troubleshoot further with you.
Regards,
Io mi prenderei a schiaffi!
E se ci mettono 6 mesi a fare il nuovo firmware?
TP-Link mi stai deludendo!!!
